Every book is made just for your family, so here's how it reaches you, how long it takes and what we do if something goes wrong.

Digital Edition delivery

The Digital Edition is your full personalized book as a high-quality, print-ready PDF. There's no shipping, so it works anywhere in the world.

  • Your preview: within 2 business days of your order, we'll email you a link to see every page.
  • Your PDF: once you approve, it arrives in your inbox right away with a download link. The link works for 30 days and allows 10 downloads, so save the PDF somewhere safe.
  • Printing it: print it at home or at any print shop, as many copies as you like for your family.

Lost your link or used up your downloads? Email us with your order number and we'll send a new one while your book is still on file.

Where the hardcover ships

We currently print and ship hardcover books to addresses in the United States and Canada, with free shipping.

Canada: hardcovers are printed and shipped from the US. Printed books don't pay import duty, but GST or HST, and sometimes a courier brokerage fee, may be charged when the package is delivered. We don't collect these at checkout, so if they apply, the courier collects them at delivery.

How long the hardcover takes

These are estimates, not guarantees. Busy seasons and holidays can add a few days.

  • Your preview: within 2 business days of your order, we'll email you a link to see every page.
  • Printing: your book ships within 7 business days after you approve your preview. Most books arrive about 2 to 3 weeks after you approve.

The clock for printing only starts once you approve, so the sooner you check your preview, the sooner your book arrives. Ordering for a birthday or holiday? Give yourself 4 weeks to be safe. We'll email you tracking details as soon as your book ships.

Our Made-for-You Promise

  1. Before you approve: cancel any time before you approve your preview, for a full refund.
  2. Your preview: we fix mistakes in names, spelling, text and likeness. Nothing is final until you click Approve.
  3. Digital Edition: full refund any time before you approve your preview. Once the PDF is delivered, we can't refund it, but if a page has a mistake, we'll fix it free.
  4. Hardcover after approval: because each book is made only for your child, we can't offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind once you approve the preview.
  5. Hardcover Limited Guarantee: if your book arrives damaged, misprinted or different from the preview you approved, email hello@minimebooks.com within 30 days with a photo. We'll reprint it free or refund you in full, your choice. This doesn't affect your statutory rights, including warranties that can't be excluded by law.
  6. Hardcover delivery: your book ships within 7 business days after approval. If it hasn't arrived within 30 days of that date, you may cancel for a full refund.

The hardcover guarantee covers printing and shipping faults. It doesn't cover mistakes that were already in the preview you approved, like a misspelled name, so please check each page carefully. For the Digital Edition, tell us about any page with a mistake and we'll send you a corrected PDF free.

Lost or late packages

If your tracking hasn't moved in a week, or it says delivered but you can't find your book, email us with your order number. We'll work with the carrier, and if the package is truly lost in the mail, we'll reprint and resend it for free.
